Vacancy: Village Agent, North Somerset (x 2 posts)

Flexible, part time posts – 14 hours per week 

Living wage: £12.60ph plus expenses

We are currently recruiting two Village Agents in North Somerset to cover the following areas:

1. Winford, Dundry, Flax Bourton, Barrow Gurney, Blagdon, Butcombe, Burrington, Churchill & Langford 

2. Abbots Leigh, Clapton in Gordano, Kenn, Kingston Seymour, Portbury, Tickenham, Gordano villages, Wraxall & Failand, Leigh Woods, Brockley, Cleeve

The role of the Village Agent links people in rural areas with advice and support services for independent living.  

You will work closely with local service providers, other organisations and community groups and have the support of colleagues performing similar roles in the area.   

We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, organised, flexible and above all demonstrate a high degree of empathy towards the people we support. You’ll need a driving licence, be able to travel to remote parts of the county and have good basic IT skills.
